The Outdoor Adventure Program is a 2 year Ontario College Diploma Course run out of Algonquin College's Pembroke Location.
This "Sport and Recreation" program takes a look at both sides of the adventure tourism industry, offering courses in both the business management side of adventure tourism, as well as the more practical hands-on hard skills needed to thrive in this industry.
They run the course with a 40% focus on in-class theory (risk management and business management classes etc.) and 60% hands-on practical training, where you have the opportunity to achieve industry certifications that will aid in the development of your Adventure Tourism career.
